LATEEF SHARIFF

Lateef Shariff was born in India and moved to Chicago, IL as a child. Lateef holds a B.S in Computer Information Systems from DePaul University in downtown Chicago. Lateef’s career spans management consulting, business growth, marketing and advertising. Lateef spends his time contributing to many non-profits, enjoys sports and resides in Dallas, TX with his family.

Richard Thrasher

Dr. Richard Thrasher is an otolaryngologist and the founding/managing partner of The ENT & Allergy Centers of Texas. He graduated from the University of Utah before attending the University of Connecticut for medical school. He completed residency at the University of Colorado prior serving as a Major in the United States Air Force. He moved to Texas in 2007 to start a solo ENT practice which has since grown to be the largest in DFW.

Dr. Thrasher has served on multiple boards, mostly in the medical community and through church. He currently is the chief of staff for Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in McKinney. He lives with his wife of 20 years and 2 teens in Prosper. 

Farnaz Mawla

Farnaz Mawla was born in Chicago, IL but spent several of her formative years in Saudi Arabia. Her family returned to Houston, TX during the first Gulf War. She attended University of Houston where she completed a BA in Journalism and a BS in Biology. She then went on to complete a Masters in Hospital Administration/MBA combination. Throughout her educational career and beyond, she has remained passionate about giving back to the community and advocating for the non-profit sector. She is honored to serve The Zaina Foundation and feels it is the perfect place to put forth these passions towards a meaningful end. She now lives in Dallas, TX with her husband and three kids.

Brandon Frazier

Brandon Frazier has 20+ years in healthcare, focusing primarily on outpatient surgery centers.  Brandon has worked in multiple analytical and operational roles and most recently is focused on the development of new surgery centers as well as the acquisition of existing facilities.

Brandon is actively involved in his church and leads “Man Up”, a program designed to help 9th grade boys transition from middle school to high school with a sense of confidence and purpose.  Brandon also regularly participates in international mission work both individually and with his family.

Brandon has been married to his wife for 23 years and has two wonderful teenage daughters.  In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, remodeling, cycling and running.

Razi Hussaini

Razi Hussaini is an anesthesiologist practicing in Dallas for the past eleven years. He received his B.A. In Biochemistry from UT-Austin, after which he received his M.D. from UT-Southwestern in Dallas. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at UTSW as well and has been practicing at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas since. He enjoys basketball, soccer, golf, as well as spending time with his wife and new baby girl. His family originally is from Hyderabad. He had visited often and is proud to support Zaina Foundation's work to improve children's lives there.
